This is a lamp that I just finished and the influence of Frank Lloyd Wright is again my inspiration. The chairs he designed had the same equally spaced vertical slats. I used mahogany and made the shade an octagon with stained glass. The cost is $350
Frank Lloyd Wright interest in the architecture of Japan is reflected in this project. The low roofline of the shade evokes images of the Japanese Tea House. This Asian sense of harmony and proportion was a part of many of the homes he designed in the Midwest. This has a tiger maple base and a mahogany platform. Cherry and Black Walnut were use on the posts and top.$500
